Deodorization
Odors can come from a variety of sources. Smoke odors come from fires. Even leaving something in the oven or on the stove can fill the kitchen and the house with a white protein smoke. Water damage odors usually have a mildew smell, and become more powerful the longer the structure is wet. Sewage back-ups not only create odors but are health hazards as well, and require special clean-up procedures. Animal odors range from skunk spray to urine and feces and can penetrate into walls and flooring. Carrion odors are caused by an animal that dies in an attic or behind a wall. Tobacco odor can permeate an entire structure.
One thing all odors have in common is they consist of gasses made of volatile compounds that evaporate into the air at room temperature. While odors are airborne, they always emanate from a source.
Masking odors is only a temporary solution. You must remove the odor if you want a permanent solution.
What we can do:
- We will identify the source of the odor and determine which materials are affected.
- If the source is unknown, we will do air sampling and testing to identify the source.
- We will determine a safe and effective treatment including use of ozone generators, hydroxyl machines, themo-fogging, COC crystals, odor blocks, sealers, ULV fogging, HEPA filtration and negative air machines.
- We will write a detailed and itemized estimate.
